Five years ago, my husband and I bought a house. It was in a quaint part of Charleston, SC. The house was charming, but needed a lot of cosmetic work. We worked long hours and spent what small amount of money we had making improvements. Little by little, we fixed it up, and now we are ready to move on. This blog is about us selling our first home, on Hickory Street in Charleston, SC, and moving back to our home town. Most people think we are crazy for leaving the bustling city, but we are looking forward to spending more time with family and less time on I-26. I look forward to revamping our new home and creating a space where my family will grow and thrive. I hope to share this experience with you so that you may also create a sanctuary as strong as hickory.
